Re: Who Misses The Old Bows

Do I miss the old bows-NO! I just go and play with one of them-but to me an old crossbow is a Phoenix, Vixen, Vortex to name a few.

Wool, and lots of it. I wear the least amount of clothes to the stand, and layer up when I get there. I wear a wool hat or face mask, wool underwear-merino wool does not itch. I wear a wool jacket or coat, wool pants or bibs, wool socks, wool gloves or mittens, and LaCross 1200 rubber insulated boot...

Re: ??? Spitfire Shooters ???

Spitfire heads are now coming from China. They are being made there now. Ask me how I know. I'm switching to another brand.

Re: scope mount screw size

I know this is an older thread. Can you either use a nut sert (sp?) or drill and tap for the next size larger machine screw? :?:

Re: The perfect crossbow scope reticle

I like the Leupold duplex reticle, but you may not. Try out a few scopes and see which one is to your liking. Ask questions-hey it's your money, get one you like.

Re: factory vs aftermrkt scope - how much better in low light

I still like the Leupold VX 1 2-7 duplex scope I've been using for years. I had them on all my slug guns and am putting them on all my Excalibur crossbows. I worked in a gun shop for a few years and tried out all the scopes in daylight and darkness. I liked the Leupold best. Try out different scopes...

Re: Hurricanes...here we go again

We need to talk the liberal hippie tree huggers into looking for a way to stop hurricanes---and leave everything else alone. May God let the rest of us get through this safely.
