Fieldtip ?

Does the design/shape of a 11/32" fieldtip make any difference in the flight of an arrow ? (1) Diameter larger than width of arrow. design/shape example: http://www.lancasterarchery.com/gold-tip-ez-pull-point.html (2) Bullet Shape that matches width of arrow. design/shape example: http://www.l...

Re: all those in Sandy's path

So far a flooded basement and re-arranged outside, (neighborhood yard elements are in our yard). For me, "Praise the Lord". Glad to read other forum members are safe and sound. Hope this trend continues. Reading about the deaths from the storm. We are very fortunate.

Re: Nap's "heat shrink" vanes for bolts....

beards-n-bone ... I have been using them for the past two weeks and so far they are doing great. Now just have to wait and see what the test of time decides. If you have any questions feel free to call New Archery Products. I called their toll-free phone number and spoke to Greg a few times. Great g...

Re: Spreading the word at Cabelas

UPSMAN ... I agree wholeheartedly. The Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg is not even close to Cabelas. In my opinion. I am fortunate to have both within an hour drive. Hope you get your Cabelas. My nephew wants to visit them all and get his picture with the huge statues many of them have out front. - John

Re: Arrow Wrap - Form/Function or Both?

GeorgiaBoy,

Thanks for the reply. I did not realize you had to use acetone to remove the wraps.

Can you use rubbing alcohol, or a heat gun?

Spreading the word at Cabelas

I was able to run up to Cabelas in Hamburg, Pennsylvania today. For those not familiar with Cabelas its a large, outdoor store and something of a "Destination Place" around these parts. Looking at arrow components I saw a couple guys looking at an Axiom. Started to work my way over and &qu...

Arrow Wrap - Form/Function or Both?

I have something called ECS (Extreme Chemical Sensitivity). I am extremely sensitive to smells, chemicals, smoke of any type, dust, etc. Reading up on carbon shafts there are all these warnings about carbon dust. I was just going to wear a respirator and goggles and gloves like I usually do for stuf...
