Re: Got my new arrows
Gotcha. I was mainly trying to show my appreciation to the man and let everyone know how impressed I was with the arrows. Wouldn't hurt to send a pm next time  They are as good as I need them to be out to 40 yards. I'm not shooting for competition or pulling anything like 80yds, so they'll do ...

Re: Got my new arrows
Bubble BUSTED. Hey, I just thought thats what he was doing. He asked me a multitude of questions and then told me what I was getting. I assumed that he was making them custom due to the questions he asked. So how can he get them and sell them for 6 bucks a piece and still make a profit? Either...

Re: Got my new arrows
I did exactly what he recommended. They are two inch blazers and the inserts are something along the lines of 100 or 110, I can't remember. Total weight with 100gr BHs is 405. Just call Danny and he'll tell you exactly what you need and get it to you in about 2 days.

Re: Camo
Yeah I understand what you guys are saying. It's the same as everything else. If I can get an advantage on a deer, I will. I have had deer eye me the whole time while sitting in a stand wearing Real Tree. I even had a doe blow out on me last year. I know its not because of scent either because i was...

Awesome. There are plenty of knowledgeable and great folks on this forum. Let the questions fly and you'll get about a dozen responses each time.

Re: Vari-Zone scope and a Remington 4x12x40 rifle scope
Just go to edit and then delete the contents of the post. Were not really sticklers or anything and I'm sure no one is mad. Just gotta put it where it belongs.
Welcome to the forum btw.

Re: Camo
Couple pics with the ASAT camo that came in today. I'll take a couple more once I have some time to get it out in the field. So far I am quite impressed with the quality as well as the coverage it provides. In this photo I am wearing blue shorts and a t shirt underneath. It seems super light weight ...

Re: String Change Barnett Crossbow ?
You have him sell it and buy an Excalibur.
If that doesn't work then take it to a place that sells them to have them do it.
Have you tried youtube?

I found this on youtube but it's for a different bow. May be useful?

Congrats to the winner.
Mighty generous of you to do something like this, Bob.
Another reason why the Excalibur forum is the best on the net.

Re: Short hunt/best attractant
Apples and corn. But as others have mentioned sometimes it will spook them out. I haven't had a single photo of a big buck on my apple pile during legal hunting hours. I think they are smart enough to wait until it gets dark. Your best bet is to find a freshly used trail, food source, or water when ...

Re: Arrows for a Vixen
Well I think vixenmaster is the most appropriate person to answer these questions but I'll take a whack. Call Danny Miller- 740 483 2312 He'll hook you up with basically whatever you need to get your vixen shooting great. He sells custom arrows for 6 bucks a piece and they get to your door in about ...

Re: practice blades for spitfire maxx?
I have hard of people flossing the blades so they don' t pop out. I have never seen Maxx practice BHs. I bought some Rage BHs last year and they shoot identical to the Maxx BHs. So I just sight in with the Rages. I also read on another forum about super gluing the blades and then using acetone to un...
