Re: Danny Miller Quiver Mount

Ups man...does it loosen up on you or stay tight? Danny uses a spider washer (included) to keep these from moving or getting loose. How's that spider washer on the rail? I had Danny Miller's top mount on my Matrix 355. The provided steel star washer is designed to dig into the softer aluminum riser...

Re: CARBON VS ALUMINUM

I switched to Easton 2219 aluminum shafts after I sold my 2012 Equinox and bought my 2013 Matrix 355. I did use the 20 inch Firebolts with my Equinox, but I noticed grooves forming along their shafts from the rail. Plus aluminum shafts are far less expensive than carbon and WOW do they last and last...

Re: Which one, NAP 170 grain Spitfire vs NAP 170 grain F.O.C

No, I would suggest them in the 405 and the 380 as added insurance. If your purchase a new pack of FOC broadheads I would resist the urge to open and close them as much as possible because the two blades are held by two clips and the clips can be worn down easily with repeated opening and closing. ...

Thanks Normous,

Do you think I would need the additional dental elastic for my Matrix 355?

Re: Which one, NAP 170 grain Spitfire vs NAP 170 grain F.O.C

Thanks SEW,

I've been thinking on trying the NAP 170 grain F.O.C. mechanical broad head for some time. I know my 470 grain total arrow/broad head weight will have the needed energy to deploy the blades.

Which one, NAP 170 grain Spitfire vs NAP 170 grain F.O.C.?

I want to try a 170 grain mechanical broad head. I currently use a NAP 170 grain Thunderhead Magnum, but they don't always fly the same as field points. I am considering one of the following: NAP 170 grain F.O.C. versus NAP 170 grain Spitfire Magnum NAP has discontinued the following, so maybe that ...

Re: Best place to buy Excalibur in Michigan?

Nice pull Sam! I did the same deal two yes ago for my M355 from Dunhams. Scott may have given me that coupon as well come to think of it. 30% off of on a Excalibur is the the best deal going. Now get some zombie slayers and shoot shoot shoot! Drew, it was Furs&Feathers that hooked us up with th...

Re: Micro 335 VS Matrix 355

Matrix 355 without question. Plenty of power for anything and properly balanced. I bought the combo, first thing I did was sold the Tact-Zone scope and Excalibur rings for Leupold scope and Leupold rings. Swapped the stock string for a custom flemish string and added Danny Miller's bumpers. Also add...

Re: Variable Power Single Reticle Scope

I have never been a fan of multi-reticle scopes whether it is on a rifle, bow, or handgun. I think they can cause confusion in the heat of the moment and could be a problem for my two young grandsons. Now on the road to purchasing my first crossbow (leaning toward the Matrix 355) seems as though th...

Re: what is the best bumpers

Danny Miller's bumpers are better in every way.

Danny's are less than have the price of R.E.D.S., last longer than R.E.D.S. and replacement pads far less expensive than R.E.D.S.

WIN, WIN, WIN!

Re: aluminum arrows for a 405

I switched to aluminum from carbon because of the cost alone. I've actually never shot a carbon arrow out of my Matrix 355. I shoot 18" Easton 2219 XX75 aluminum arrows with 2" Bohning Blazer vanes out of my Matrix 355. My total arrow weight is 470 grains with 170 grain NAP Thunderhead bro...

Re: Tactzone Scopes

Oh OK, so they fail to track. Leupold will address the issue since they have the best warranty in the optics world. More than likely the delay is parts, but that's a guess. I myself sell off lesser optics for some cash, but I respect your choices. The 6.5x55 swedish mauser will eradicate your proble...
