Re: OT: Canadain Firearm Buy Back Program

And yet, who do they keep voting for? Unless the last election was a fraud like here in the states, who do you blame?

Re: Using Excalibur Bow Stringer

Yes, very helpful. Thank you. My biggest concern was shortening the rope too much causing the limbs to crack/break. I understand I have to shorten the bow string to keep the string from touching the bumpers. Thanks again for the help.

Thanks Boo and to everyone else for their help. I 'm just going to let the string stretch for now.

Re: Using Excalibur Bow Stringer

I can't get the new string off! I'm afraid to keep shortening the rope on the bow stringer fearing I'll break the limbs on my bow. My string is brand new and supposed to measure 36" for an Axiom. I never measured the string before putting it on the bow. The old string had stretched and came off...

Re: Using Excalibur Bow Stringer

My mistake. I thought you meant when cocking the bow to shoot an arrow. I'm going to just let the string stretch and not worry about it touching the bumpers. Thanks for the help.

Re: Using Excalibur Bow Stringer

I don't understand that the limbs come back much, much more when cocked. Why wouldn't the string come off? When changing the string, you have to bend the limbs farther than when cocking the bow, don't you? When I changed the old string, it took less than a minute because of the stretch in the string...

Using Excalibur Bow Stringer

I put a new string on my Axiom bow (36"). Took less than a minute using bow stringer. The new string is touching the bumpers. When I used the bow stringer to take the new string off, I couldn't get the bow limbs to bend enough to take the new string off the tips of the limbs. I'm afraid of brea...

Re: OT: An Interesting Encounter

I live in Detroit,Michigan (residential neighborhood) and about a month ago witnessed a Falcon nail a Pigeon in my apartment parking lot. The odd thing is Detroit has nesting Falcons in the downtown district where the Pigeon population is high, so to see a Falcon that far from its territory seemed o...

Re: If You Have To Cough

We can all thank the State Controlled Lib Media for the panic the U.S. and Canada is experiencing. Also thank the Lib Media for the tanking of the U.S. Stock Market. This is their wet dream having this virus outbreak since they were unable to get rid of President Trump with their phony "Russian...

Re: finally got out!

Glad to see you got out in spite of the high temps. It was 86 degrees on opening day(Oct1) where I hunt in southern Michigan. Almost glad I didn't see anything to shoot due to the high temps. Haven't been able to get back out since.

Re: 20" bolts from a grizzly?

My nephew has shot 20" Bolts(Easton 2219 aluminum) arrows from his Grizzly. Used his 18" bolts that came with the Grizzly to sight in his bow. Told him to try my 20" arrows to see if there was any difference. Shot out to 50 yards with no difference. Lucky he tried my arrows because he...
