I looked online and found the strongest telescoping selfie-stick I could.
Then countersunk the correct threaded insert into the fore end of the stock, just ahead of the balance point with the bow cocked and ready to shoot.

It folds back and nestles just beside the trigger guard for carry.

I would think the trajectory of the arrow would be affected by the down angle, not so much drop per distance. Might just compensate for the extra distance the height adds. Factory placement is off balance - uncomfortable
