Re: Ozonics

I think when it comes to scent control many factors have to be considered. First and foremost where you hunt. If it is public or private land with very little human activity then scent control techniques are a must. If it is as the place I hunt mostly ( Active Farm with a Horse Riding Stable ) human...

Re: 2019 Excaliburs

Now they will have to come up with a Block Target that can withstand the Speed without ripping the fletching off. As well included some kind of powerful .Jacking system to remove the arrow from the target block. Could be costly rig to practise with when it comes to arrows. Easy to crank but hard to ...

Re: Free Reign

Another important thing is to look at what surrounds the property. Farm Fields / Crops / feed / good cover / protected areas from the elements. Some times incorporating some of those things into your plan can help. The easy answer is feed ... feed ....feed. The other is to increase their sense of se...

Re: Scope out of focus

Just a thought. Did you try looking into another scope to compare. It is just possible something may have changed with your vision . Some vision issues can occur suddenly without any noticable warning. Some vision issues can affect just a small portion / spot in your field of vision. Especially depe...

Re: My new way of keeping still n staying long

Not a real techy but I have it with me when i'm hunting, never know when I might have an emergency  I had it with me when I fell out of the tree, and it sure is nice to be able to call someone when an emergency happens. Dave :) The number one reason I carry mine as well. . Bonus is...

Re: Eclipse XT

Nice find.
If I was so lucky my first immediate accessory purchase would be an Anti Dryfire to protect it from any dryfire mishaps.

Re: Assasin Crank 12lbs vs C2 on Equinox ( ???? Lbs)

Thanks the both comments are very helpful..gives me two options to consider. The Assassin's reduced cranking makes it worth a close consideration. The difficultly with the C2 on Equinox for sure is related to the number of cranks and the force required in the last half. The handle length I will give...

Re: Assasin Crank 12lbs vs C2 on Equinox ( ???? Lbs)

Açtually the force required to crank difference I am trying to learn about is between the Assassin and an Equinox with C2 Crank installed. Not a Equinox with Charger Crank installed. Final piece in the decision to upgrade or not before hunting starts. Require the least of the two for this upcoming s...

Assasin Crank 12lbs vs C2 on Equinox ( ???? Lbs)

Does anybody know the forcd differences between the Assassin Crank 12 lbs vs the force required to crank an Equinox using the C 2 Crank.

Subjective or actual cranking force lbs are welcome if you have had experience either way

Thanks

Re: Anyone get a moose tag

My Group was drawn for calf tag for Archery this year. WMU we hunt has the Bull / Cow / Calf Tag Draw System in place since 2004 which I am sure will be in short order rolled out across all Ontario as thing seems to be progressing. Dramatically Controls / reduces the number of hunters while still ge...

Cabelas has the Assassins for 1599.00 and the Strata Assassins are 1499.00 I personally think the airbrakes and hard case is worth the 100.00
. Also don’t see a lot of reviews on them not sure how they are doing, but I guess no news is good news.
Agreed

Re: Strata Assassin

Does this one share the same asinine MSRP of $1700 just like the original assassin or did they come to their senses and cut at least $500 off the price? Stores are selling them for a bit less, but $1800 CAD after taxes for a recurve is laughable. One way to look at it. But when you take the crank a...
