Re: It happened to me
Pretty happy with the turn around from Excal. Sent limbs to Port Huron on Friday. They got them Monday afternoon, and I had new limbs in hand Tuesday afternoon. Wow. Thanks for that great customer service!

https://i.imgur.com/zWjaiJn.jpg (Sorry it was the best picture I could get of him with all of the excitement!) Debated on going out because it was gloomy and raining all day long here in Wisconsin, only benefit was that it was only 47 degrees. Well at 4:00pm I decided to go sit in my west blind. Go...

Re: It happened to me
I do have another bow, M330. But the 380 has all my goodies on it, so thats what I want to use this year.
The tips both look like the glue just let go. Proper brace height, seated arrow, many shots, seasoned shooter.
I have been in contact and Dawn is fixing me up.

It happened to me
On the 32nd shot of the day, the limb tips blew off my M380. No way! Got a Vixenmaster string, 1" brace height , arrow shot right on target. I am an experienced Excal shooter, having used my M330 for years with same setup, and all positive results. Uuurrggghhhh!

Re: When will this miserable heat end
Same in NW Indiana. Just miserable again today. It stays right at 100deg at my toolbox thermometer at work, even til midnight. Yuck. We smoked some some bbq for pulled pork at lunch, and made homemade coleslaw. Now working on ribs and wings for dinner. A wonderful menu on this great holiday. Did a l...

Re: gun safe size conundrum
You can never have too much room. I bought a 64 gun safe thinking it was too big. Ha! Already wishing I would have bought the 84 gun one. Scopes take up a lot of room on guns, as well as loose items like binocs and pistols, etc.

Screw size is 8-32 I found. Already got it fixed up with new screws, limbsaver cushion, heat shrink, and mild loctite. Getting there.

Re: Dr Stirrup kit
Finally got the limb dampeners and string bumpers installed, along with a new vixenmaster string. Then, did end up getting the stirrup to go with it (thanks bigbowman!). I must say, quite the additions. Looks completely different, mean... lol. Definately sounds better too. I say the biggest accompls...
