Re: Reducing poundage on vixen 2
You could try and get your hands on a flat riser and swap them out. Also cocking by hand has the potential to negatively affect your accuracy. My Vixen was shooting all over the map while hand cocking. Once a rope cocker was used it became a ......."laser". http://i891.photobucket.com/alb...

Reducing poundage on vixen 2
Hi all, I want to reduce the poundage on my vixen 2 by 25lbs to 125lbs as I only use bow for target shooting. I shoot NFAS in the UK where we have to cock the bow by hand NO cocking aids allowed. I understand an inch has to be removed from the rail to do this. Is the rail at the front solid or hollo...

Re: UK target shooting.
Thanks for all the replies, very interesting. Will look into the 'lite limbs'.
In the UK we have the NFAS or national field archery where we can shoot crossbows. We can shoot any poundage of bow, but who fancies hand clicking a 220lb?

UK target shooting.
Hi all. Over here in the UK we can't hunt with crossbows. So we have to make do with shooting paper targets and 3ds with crossbows. Also crossbow rules here say we have to cock the crossbow by hand. This means for most people 150lb is the limit. (try pulling back a vixen 2 60 or 70 times!) Any chanc...

Thanks for the reply. There are a few of us here in the UK who will be after one. We belong to a crossbow 3d target group called 'Crossbow Rabble At Play'
