Re: All over at 30 yards!
Ive got this thing in a rifle shooting rest like a lead sled. Maybe more than 5inch groups at 30 yards is asking too much? HMMM... Did not see that post -notice we posted at the same time -what are the chances? Then it would seem you have a mechanical glitch for sure. My 355 will shoot into a...

Re: Stringing Aid Failure: Operator Error
DAMN! Tough lesson. Interesting how the internal casting faults exist in the injection molded fitting. IMHO this speaks volumes on using the BOO- DANNY MILLER units instead. They have the parts cut from solid stock. My Excalibur stringing aid is officially retired after seeing that -THANKS, TInk Exc...

Re: All over at 30 yards!
If everything noted above checks out OK, the next thing to mull over is possible operator error. Errors multiply with distance. With a 355 you will have about a 4" drop with a stock Diablo arrow from a 20 yard zero. Checking the mirror is a 'hard seed to swallow' but it does, unfortunately, exi...

Re: s5 bumpers
String-Tamers. A machinist can modify an S-5 to have a .375x1 inch pin instead of the Excal ball to accommodate a StringTamer. Yes, I have done it (without a collet) for DM as an experiment. Danny Miller can supply the StringTamer rubbers for the modified shaft. Call DM and ask him if you need more...

Re: Tact-zone opinions
NEWBIE; I regret that I did not take the opportunity to wring-out my TACT-ZONE that came with my 355. There was no detectable problems with it that I could see . I have always been a Leupold-type of guy (have had 5 of them) and jumped at the chance to upgrade from the chinese TZ. ..Mainly because I ...

Re: Matrix 355 scope mount screws
Thanks shucks...
If'n KGBPD acknowledges reading what was written above and wants to shorten a set of said T-20 8x32's (slightly) I'll send him a set.
Tink
(Wonder if KGBPD stands for KGB (like in Russian secret police) PD (police department?)

Re: Matrix 355 scope mount screws
I have a new 355. I have to say that I've lost some faith in the quality of the bow which I had been impressed with originally. Hopefully this is a minor glitch. :( Losing faith because of screws that work loose  Mine were locked in so tight, one stripped the allan socket and had to be drille...

Re: Third Hand Rag Bags
Go to your St Vincent de Paul, Good Will or other thrift store. They usually have bags of "rags" for sale... 'think I got about 40 pounds of tee-shirts for $12-14.00. (several appeared to be new) Had a choice of tee-shirts or old towels. One time expense as you just stir them up now and th...

Re: Anyone familiar with this treestand?
tink, im funny about old tree stands .if it was me i would not use it . i guess you can test it out but i always feel theres to much at stake to be climbing trees with a sub standard climber..be sure to wear a harness.. Easy, Big Fella! Do not be so quick to characterize my 'find' as "sub-stan...
