Anyone familiar with this treestand?
A neighbor has had this around for years and never used it -bought it at a garage sale. He said I am welcome to it if I could figure it out?!? I know zero about tree stands. This must be an old one.. I would guess there are some parts missing -maybe two sets of vertical spreaders? The ends with the ...

Me thinks if'n you have a mini-gun or a rocket launcher that was not properly registered with the BATF you might consider keeping it to yourself...

Re: Lumenok
--Best way to turn them off when they are tight is to wiggle them bavk and forth with a pair of Danny Miller arrow puller pliers before you remove the arrow from your target. Do not twist them when you remove them or you run the risk of damaging the post contacts. Hope this helps. F X2- Sage advice...

Re: New Trigger on my Y-25
What is a Jesus ball Jesus! Where did that go? It is the very small safety detent ball. Well, you got me on that one.. . In Viet Nam, troops referred to the 'thingie' that kept the rotor on the Hueys as a "Jesus Nut". (ie: ..major safety concern  ) .. Sooo I just assumed it was the ...

Re: Crossbow Strings & Thumbs Don't Mix!
Unfortunately, 'that' is something everyone probably has to suffer through (to some degree or another) to really remember. Fortunately my 'thumb tweek' lesson was with the Medieval arbalist in the avatar. No cuts but only red and hurt like the dickens! Have not forgotten since  What someone sai...

Re: Matrix 355 Speed
Whoa nelly, 327 fps, i really thought they would get 340fps. If'en 327 wid a 400 gr arrow is all they will put out. I'll save my $900. My chrono unit is from the late 80's. The screen windows are very small and on a three foot beam. A bit hairy to get all lined up, but manageable. I have never used...

Re: Matrix 355 Speed
Just checking a single DIABLO [401 gr] today from my 355, using BOO Flemish string at a constant 327 fps. Right hand offset. By the way varying the spacing of the bumper had zero- NADA effect on the velocity!

Re: Lubricant on top of rail / arrow groove?
If your are interested in trying 3M™ Polyethylene Tape on your arrow retainer... The slip coefficient is very high on the 3M product. Also, it works well in extreme hot or cold temperatures. Lastly, it has sound dampening qualities and can help dampen the sound of your arrow sliding underneith it a...
