Re: O/T-Don't Shoot the Messenger!

Amazon didn't exactly cave. The feds helped them along. I believe a law was passed last year requiring any company selling over 1 million on line a year to charge state and county taxes. The second part of the law is any person who sells over 20k AND has over 200 Paypal transactions in 1 year will g...

Re: Bolts

I have shot Diablo's and the BEE in the 380. I prefer the BE for the extra weight. The Diablo's shot fine but the heavier BEE's do help quiet the bow. I also like to custom pick my insert weight and vane style. When I purchased my 380 nobody really had Diablo shafts in stock. I have now found a comb...

Nice bow Dan, I knew you would get one. I have something for your stirrup and REDS. Made a huge sound difference on mine.

Re: Bolts

18" BEE here too. They are great with the 380. Jerry at South Shore sells them and you pick all options. I think Big John makes them as well.

Re: Some kind of failure

Could have hit the sholder blade bone? Just asking. I used Rage 125 2 blade for years and killed lots of deer with them using my vertical bow. They worked great until I hit a shoulder on a buck. The shot looked great, but he backed up as the arrow was in flight. I was using lighted nocks and could ...

Re: Thumb Guard for 2007 Exomax

Make sure he uses something if its needed. After hunting this morning my hunting partner and I decided it would be worth coffee to see who could hit a corn cob at 50 yards. He went first......some how his gloved finger got too high and ripped the tip of his glove off and almost pulled the glove off ...

Re: Another newbie!

Welcome, You have made a great choice. I will not part with my 380 or the 4 other Excalibur bows we own. The buy once, cry once didn't work for me. I just keep getting more :D

Re: Arrow pullers are necessary!!!!

"Once you set the scope on that monster you wont have to shoot all the time its a killin machine" Hate to sound like a Jerk but that is lame advice. Practice is fun, And much needed on any implement of destruction. Practice year round. Standing ,sitting, Hanging up side down if you can. T...

Re: Weird accuracy

My 380 has a sweet spot at 2.5 string widths off the REDS. I marked the riser once I found it. If the string settles more over time, my poi is off. Are you shooting freehand or off a rest?
