Re: Rangefinder

I use a rangefinder when I first put up a stand. I mark trees, trails, edges, etc. I just remember the distances after that. (most of the time). I have several other stands over crops. Once crops are cut I use the rangefinder and place a tree branch or corn stalk at various distances. I try to avoid ...

Re: Interesting to see how the Matrix put forth

You have to have haters. AT is all lit up about the 380 blems as well. Its funny to see how many bash Excal but yet in their signature they shoot sz380's. I find it very ironic. Makes you want to ask how their 3rd and 4rth set of limbs are working out or how great Bowtech's customer service is.

Re: Check this: 380 poor quality issue???

Its not just the black ones. My camo 380 has a much deeper one than that. If I could figure out how to post a picture I would post it. I figure I will shooot it a while and give Excalibur a call. I do not see it as a big issue. I looked at my Vixen and Ibex and they both have them as well, but not a...

Re: Bolts for Matrix 355

I have to double check, but I think the (4) Diablo's I got weighed in at 258-259 grains. If the Executioners weigh about the same wouldn't the 110 brass insert put them at...say 348 +/-? The Diablo's I have weight in at 252,252,254,252 Grains The Executioners with the options listed weight 314gr (t...

Re: Painting Limbs and Stock?

Thank you Boo. It sounds like the limb flaking I was warned about is not a huge issue if you prep well and use good products.

Re: Painting Limbs and Stock?

Thank you for the link. Does it wear well? She only target shoots so "woods" wear will not be an issue. Will one kit do both limbs and the stock or will I need more?

Painting Limbs and Stock?

I would like to black out my wifes crossbow. I need the limbs black as well as the stock and I have seen some here that have been painted. How did you do it? What did you use? How does it hold up? She wants more of a smooth black, not a rough primer. My biggest concern is the flexing of the limbs. A...
