There has been a rash of bad scopes, so no surprise on the news. Excalibur does not make them, they have them made for them. Unfortunately some people think poorly of Excalibur quality because of this, and nothing could be further from the truth on that! They still warranty the scope, so you will be...

I use the GT's Lazer 2 also, and that sounds light! I use 100 grain heads, and Blazers, I come in at 390 grains! Check scope for level as suggested, and remember that there is a big difference between 50 yards, and 30! If you are consistently hitting left, and close, adjust your scope to zero at 50 ...

I live in an area that is over crowded with deer, and our local population wants to open some areas for bow, and crossbow only hunts, but the anti's keep getting their way! Until one of their cars, or worse fall victim to this situation, nothing gets done! Areas in Illinois have had the same problem...
