Took a few shots with her tonight, and I'm having second thoughts. I might just have to hold three in my stable!

Re: Stripped Screws

X2, heat the wrench! Use light heat too! I have even heard guys get a towel hot with water, and let it set on there a while.

Good luck!

Re: Flat trajectory

I had to take one here in Indiana to qualify for a hunt on a military refuge years ago, but I got bow, and gun qualified, and it is a Federally recognized certificate. Re: Newest Member of the Excalibur Family

You can't go wrong with BEE bolts from what I have read, and seen with a few guys that I shoot with. Boo string is made by Don Katsumi, he is in Canada, and has been making them for a long time. You can find him on the trading post, and he has a website as well. You can find all kinds of other gadge...

Re: Flat trajectory

Just remember, there are many kinds of crazy!  I'm a vertical addict, but there is no comparison on thwack, accuracy, range, etc. to what the crossbows can do. Now, if you look at it from an efficiency point of view, then they are correct comparing force required to achieve X, but then yo...

Re: Yep, it's true!

Not much. The draw, or stroke is .8" shorter, and 20# less. I think it will be my go to hunting bow however. I like to have a spare in case my nephew gets leave from the Navy during the season, and wants to hunt with me. Plus, I only need one size of bolts, broadhead, etc.
