Good luck to my Southern Neighbors! Hope the slight dip in temperature is enough to get the big boys moving!

Anthony, did you put all of Gaston’s goodies on your A 360 as well, or did you stay with the stock components?

Re: YAY OR NAY ON AIRBRAKES FOR THE A420TD

Anthony, do you have to change out hardware to not use them? Shorter bolts, etc. If so, the weight is not an issue on the Axe, and I kept them on. I don't think the Axe is much quieter than my Micro 355 with dbKillers, and limb silencers for Gaston.

Yay for me!

Re: Serving String While On Bow

Let us know how many shots you get before seeing serving separation. My guess is that you'll see separation immediately. You simply can't get the serving tight enough by hand....imo.. Paul Totally agree with Paul. Buy another string from the Trading Post, and ask to get yours reserved by the seller...

Re: A MAMMAL WITH A KEENER SENSE OF SMELL THAN A DEER

I guess I fight dirty when it comes to buying certain things. I told the grandsons to hint to grandma that they needed a smaller crossbow to shoot. Grandma said " that's a Grandpa thing." I was bidding looking at micro's that evening. ( she just can't tell them no) That's dirty pool, I love...

Re: A MAMMAL WITH A KEENER SENSE OF SMELL THAN A DEER

Anthony I know the feeling, I just bought a back up Matrix 380 for one of my friends and it came in yesterday afternoon so I put the box in the corner of my hunting room so I could put it together later. My wife came home yesterday and hadn't been home 5 minutes and she went through the room and ca...

Re: new axe

I love mine, I’m easier to please, have lower expectations, or just fix what I don’t like. Yep, the arrows are not the greatest, but the FOC is no where near what I would use anyway. Get some good arrows, you’ll need more anyway, and see what you have then.

Good luck,
Dan

Re: Borkholder Archery Custom Bolts

I'm sure they're good. The factory bolts are made for using heavier heads since they have aluminum inserts. This makes your FOC ratio lower if you use 125 grain heads or less. It's not horrible, but when you increase your FOC (front of center) weight, you'll notice much better groups. If you go to c...
