Re: Safety Hammer

You're talking about something called a spur. Since the safety is not as hard as cocking a Muzzle Loader, or Single Shot Rifle, you could probably duct tape a protrusion like a thimble, or small game piece that would work. I did the same. Did you guys try pushing? like a lawn mower?
The lower center of gravity make this cart a winner.
We pushed it empty, but found that loaded was easier pulling.

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler

I'll tell him in the morning. My buddy called me about this picture since I texted it to him. He said I see deer tracks and one bean stalk in this picture, where are you? I told him that we have this farm to hunt on today & tomorrow. The farmer has two bean fields still up. We have been trying to le...

Re: Hot hands gloves

Joe, it was COLD here this AM. We were in the low teens with the real feel temps, and it never got over 30 degrees. We were out from 5:30 until 11:00, and I sweat like Freshman Quarterback! I froze me arse off!  I went in with hardly any clothes on too, but one of my Meds has the sweats a...

First Use of The Hawk Crawler

The kid got a big doe this morning, dressed weight was 161 pounds. We had about .5 mile hike out, and this thing made it pretty easy! The kid was very impressed to say the least, glad I picked it up. I got skunked this morning, one small button buck is all i saw. [url=https://postimg.cc/Pp701s9y] ht...

Re: How old is old

All of you youngsters inspire me! If I didn't get sick, my plan was to hunt way into my 70's. I'm still holding onto that plan thanks to you folks, I hope you pups hunt for many, many years!

Re: S5 Question

When you pull the rubber bumpers off and see the metal that holds them, take note of the shape. If it's a complete ball, they need to have atleast half of the ball shaved off to give you the longest life of the bumpers. Boo is giving some good advice here. It creates an air pocket under the rubber ...

I never killed one in my house, NEVER!  I too enjoy seeing deer up close, it means you're in the right spot, and you don't stink! Keep at it Bill, it's gonna happen! Me neither but my brother in law built his house in a wooded area and the deer travel through his backyard. Seve...
