Re: damaged painting on flight groove/barrel

thank you for your help. i checked the crossbow and the damages don't seem to harm the accuracy. i sand down the moonnocks of the AMS fishbolts and now i let the stopper screw run inside the rail. after a few testshots it seems to be a good solution. i'll be back from holydays in a few weeks with so...

Re: damaged painting on flight groove/barrel

i am using the yellow crossbow arrows from AMS. what is confusing for me is that the damage is only on one side and also on the sides of the barrel close to the latch (probably caused by the plastik hooks of the cocking rope).
i wrote an email to the excalibur support, let' see what they'll say.

Re: x-bowfishing, how to?

i wanted to see the arrow drop of the heavy bolts so i shot without line. but i got another idea. i still use the halfmoon nocks, if i sand them down as you advised me, it should be no problem to put the head of the srew downward and let it run through the rail that is normaly for one of the vanes.t...

Re: bipod installation

hello! i am using a versapod. instead of mountig the massiv block of plastic when you use the standard adapter i reduced the block, removed some plastic in the stock until it fits into the stock front. now just the pin is sticking out of the stock: http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s604/G-R-X/IMG_...

Re: Does this crossbow sport exist ?

hello! maybe you've seen a video from crossbowshooters in germany. they only do 3d shooting or accuracy shooting (apple shooting) because hunting with a crossbow is strictly forbidden. even hunting with a rifle is forbidden if you don't have a gun licence and a hunting licence. both are pretty expen...
