Re: Excalibur open sights
Thanks for your reply Gerald. Yes i have tried red dots, i am not a fan of anything optical. I have rugby ball shaped eyes and wear glasses which distorts what i see through an optic. Everything goes to the left!

Excalibur open sights
After my failed request for an mfo open sight i was wondering if anyone has a open (front and back) sights for an Excalibur vixen 2? I hate using scopes especially at short range, i can zero at 25 yards with opens and instinctively do the rest. I actually shoot 3ds with no sights at all on my vintag...

Thanks for reply. I have tried contacting them but no reply. Nothing on the net says they have stopped trading.

Bad river outdoor/MFO open sight
Morning all.
2 questions. Is Bad river outdoors still trading and/or does anyone have an mfo open sight for sale for a Vixen 2?

Re: Shortening Vixen 2 rail advice
Sean, how did you get your apex to do 245 fps? And with 340 grain bolts?? What fps would you get with a 300 grain bolt?

Re: Shortening Vixen 2 rail advice
Hi Sean, did you get my message? Happy to do a swap if there is anyway of unbluing rail? It would look absolutely hideous on a camo stock and limbs bit like Granny in a mini skirt!

Shortening Vixen 2 rail advice
Here in Britain we can't hunt with crossbows, so have to make do with with Target or 3d.Also the powers at B won't let us use cocking aids, so everything has to be done by hand. I have a vixen 2 that i have been shooting for a couple of years and have spent a great deal of money getting it just righ...
