Re: arrow rise or drop
Not to bring a very old thread back to life but it is the exact topic I want to start, so I feel it best to revive one that already has some information within it. Last year I tried and tried to get the perfect sighting of my new Nikon, but I never felt satisfied with it. This year I have changed al...

Re: firebolt weight??
Ok cool, I still wonder what the shaft weighs naked though. Is that weight of yours with the stock vanes? I removed my stock vanes. I believe the stock vanes are 9.6 grain each. Total of 28.8 grain. The blazers are 6 grain each, totaling 18. This removed 10.8 grains from the rear of the arrow I thin...

Re: firebolt weight??
Anyone know what everything breaks down to individually by chance? RAW 20" Firebolts GPI? Firebolt front insert weight? Firebolt rear insert weight? Not to concerned with the vanes as I fletched them myself with 2" Blazers. I am guessing 414 grain total using a 150gr tip. Has anyone measur...

Re: Nikon Pro Staff Crossbow Scope
Forum Members: Has anyone had the above scope ? If so, what are the Pro's 'n' Cons ? Let me know ! Thanks, Hawkeyemd The only Crossbow Scope I know of being made by Nikon is the Bolt XR. Pro's: I love my Nikon mainly because of how much light it gathers. It is super bright when looking through it a...

Re: S5's String gap
Ok thanks for the replies. I have had this string on for several months now, just not had any weather willing to allow me to shoot as of yet. I figured several months under tension would have settled it in by now? No? Ok, took the bow apart to wax the string and tie on some cat whiskers. Once I get ...

Re: S5's String gap
Sorry to awaken this thread but Id rather awaken it then start a new one. I just installed my new S5's and noticed the string is sitting against it really really hard. I kept reading around that you should have a small gap no more than a strings gap. SO, I turned the string one full 360 degree turn ...

Re: Danny Miller's service......
Over last weekend I had a great experience with Dan. After several years research (yes, its taken me a long time to figure out what I want and to afford it) I thought I knew exactly what I wanted in a xbow, however after just 10 minutes on the phone with me he convinced me to go with a different bow...
