Re: Matrix 355 Speed
Your flemish string is slowing you down some too. All the custom string makers tell me that the factory string is faster than a flemish. I am shooting my 355 the way it came with the diablo arrows it came with and with 100 grain field points(that gives me a 350 grain arrow total weight) and I am clo...

Re: ?speed?
I have seen them come through the woods looking up in the trees. I had a small group of 8 does come in under my tree one day and 7 would munch on acorns while one would watch me in the tree. They would alternate and I never was able to get my bow up and it was only about a 15 yard shot.

Re: Matrix changes everything.
Sorry to extend this string any longer but I finally went back and read all the posts. WOW!!!! There are some very strong feelings on here along with some very long winded posters. The one thing that I don't like and have very little tolerence for is someone who poo poos something someone else likes...

Re: ?speed?
Step up to the Matrix and you can have both speed and kinetic energy. How does this sound, 350 to 370 fps and over 100 ft pounds kinectic energy at 30 yards?

Dry fire
If dry firing an excalibur has never really been an issue of concern, why has it become such a concern now with the Matrix, so much so that they have now put the anti-dry fire device on the 380 but still not on the 355.

Re: Scope rings
Any Weaver style scope ring, steel or aircraft aluminum appropriatley sized to the scope tube (1" or 30mm) will work fine. I don't think you need to spend a lot of money on rings for a cross bow since a cross bow will not exert the punishment that a high powered rifle will. One looks as good as...

Re: 355 and REDS
When you set your brace height to where you like it I always take a black sharpie and make a little mark on the side of the barrel right underneath the string. That way you can tell if you string stretched really quickly. If you don't pay attention to string stretch your sights will be off. Its imp...

Yes, you are adorable and very intelligent. I am a lot older than you but I yield to you knowledge in this area and really enjoy reading your mathmatical explanation of why and how things work. I married a math major who wrote the first book in the world about math as it relates to auto mechanics. I...

So.... don't "Ami listen to the video" me. I didn't say anything that contradicts what Bill said and I'll eat your face off with ketchup. On the contrary, everything I said underscored that the lighter arrow would lose flight stability thus accuracy sooner. hehe :D I'm not mad by th...
