Re: Diablos
Ami, listen to the video. It most definetly says that they could not find fixed 100 grain broadhead that would fly accurately at the speeds of the Matrix at the 40 yard range. If you note in my original post I stated "100 grain". I didn't say any fixed broadhead wouldn't fly accurately at ...

Re: Diablos
[quote="Limbs and Sticks Where does excal say fixed bhs will not fly at these speeds accurately? I shoot a 350gr stick no damn brass, plastic nock, alum insert, 2 1/2'' gateway feathers about 12% foc with 100gr magnus stingers, ss snuffers or g5 fixed bhs, good out to 40yd. this is on my max at...

Re: Diablos
So if I am shooting a Matrix 355 with diablo arrow and 100 grain field point or broadhead, I should be getting around 355 fps???? Or in other words if I want to max out my bow's potential at 355fps then I should use the diablo with 100 grain heads. I have the x-act broadhead because Excalibur says t...

Re: Lonely Hen Tips?
Finally caved in to spring for a decoy. (My wife said I could get the decoy or a Rinehart target because we can't afford both. LOL) It just feels like a real necessity with archery hunting if you want to get that turkey in close enough for a practical and ethical shot. Decided to go with this naugh...

Re: tall bipod
I use the Bog Gear Bog Pod with my rifle and will probably use it with my Matrix. It is the best that I know of and adjust fully from sitting down to standing up. Do a google search for shooting sticks and you will find a bunch. http://www.amazon.com/Bog-Gear-BOG-POD-Shooting-Photography/dp/B001G0MP...

Re: Hip Quiver
Can anyone recommend a good hip quiver (18" arrows) to use for still hunting. It would need to be quiet. The older I get, the more I hunt from the ground. I know what you mean about hunting from the ground as I get older. The last time I hunted from my tree stand I left it at the base of the t...

Re: 355 and REDS
When you set your brace height to where you like it I always take a black sharpie and make a little mark on the side of the barrel right underneath the string. That way you can tell if you string stretched really quickly. If you don't pay attention to string stretch your sights will be off. Its imp...

Re: Where to buy
I don't know Danny Miller but it seems that he is very popular on here. A quick search on line shows everyone selling them for $899.99 and most of them have free shipping. Bass Pro does have them in stock on line and they have free shipping to the store, if you have one near you.

Re: Is it kosher?
Okay. I had been looking for a good range finder and when I look for something I check everything out until I get the best price and make sure it is legit. Everything I read kept pointing me to the Nikon Riflehunter 550. The price runs anywhere from $269 to $289 even on Amazon. I found it on ebay fo...

Is it kosher?
Is it kosher to share a good deal on here regarding something most of the members would use. I have no connection with the seller but the item is an unbelievable deal and I bought one the other day.
