Re: Wooden Arrows
What they are made of doesn't matter so much as the characteristics of the finished product. :) I hate to disagree with you but your statement is a little dangerous. With the power of today's xbows, what they are made of is very very important. I once shot wood too when I was shooting a 45lb. recur...

They have a lifetime warranty and the only cost is $12.95 shipping to get it rebuilt when or if it does wear out. Sounds like a good deal but I would like to know from someone who has actually used one because at $99 you should get a good one that will last.

Re: Excalibur Quivers the same for all Models?
The diablo arrows were made to shoot with the Matrix. They will balance well and are front weighted to help with accuracy. The 100 and 125s will give you a flatter trajectory and a little more range than the heavier 150s and I don't really know of anything in TN that you could hunt that can't be kil...

Re: String Cart before the Matrix horse
I have a 355 coming. What is wrong with the string that comes on it? Do I need to get another one?

Re: Leupold vx-1 3-9X 40mm
Leuopold scopes are great on rifles but why a 3X9 variable on a crossbow when your shooting at range under 60 yards.

Maybe they think it is an assault bow. Did you have a high capacity quiver too?

Re: Matrix 355 Stirup
Why don't you contact Excalibu and ask them. I am sure they will tell you and when they hear about your modification, they may get ideas on how to improve their bows. I would like to see the do a swing away stirrup so you could shoot the big hammer heads.

Re: Camo in crossbows: Real effectiveness?
Detailed camouflage just like detailed patterns on fishing lures are to entice the hunters and fishermen only. I buy camo clothing since it comes in very quiet materials, but I have in the past worn plaid shirt in jeans and have a 100% antelope hunt. A matte finish helps, but I still use a glossy s...

Re: What arrow for Turkey hunting?
Just how difficult would it be to design a fold away stirrup? You would think that Excalibur would have already done that unless there is some really good reason not to.

Thank you. I read somewhere that you had to use a longer arrow but I didn't know what the affects it would have.

What arrow for Turkey hunting?
I have a new Matrix 355 on the way and I hope to get it in time for part of spring turkey season. I plan to use the guillotine broadhead or a similar type. If I do use these will they clear the foot styrup or will I need to use a longer arrow? If I do use a longer arrow, will it affect the range and...
