Re: Crossbow bore sighting
You are absolutely right. We want the accuracy of a laser mounted in a crossbow w/ that of a hand-held. That's the idea. With all due respect I think that's what you want, but there isn't an economic model that will make that happen. But feel free to develop one for your own use. Attaching the scop...

Re: Crossbow bore sighting
There should be a sighter making crossbows sighting as easy and accurate as guns bore sighting. There's a solution, it's called '10 yards', lol. Your confusing the accuracy of a laser mounted in a bullet w/ that of a hand-held. No where near the same. It took me a while to position the 6" wher...

Re: Crossbow bore sighting
Bore sighting "Gets you on paper". I have been shooting bows a while and crossbows a short while. I have been shooting Firearms lots longer . I assure you at 10 yards even with a broken optic/sight you will hit a backstop/ target suitable for sighting in. I suggest a 4ft. by 4 ft. rag tar...

Re: Crossbow bore sighting
Just shoot one at 10 yds........then 20 yds for sight in....takes about 5 minutes As 'Shucks said, you really dont need to bother, but if you just want to... use an arrow shaft with no insert, slide it under the string and hold down spring, use a regular bore sight device with the stud inserted int...

Crossbow bore sighting
Any ideas how? I believe I do know how. Excalibur might have their own idea. I would be happy if they do.

It is much better than you USED TO THINKCalcobrena wrote:Oh, OK, I thought someone said it didnt' come with a scope. The display one I cocked didn't have the scope mounted. Well, then, that's not so bad at all, then.

Re: Matrix changes everything.
I believe I've found a more comfortable way to cock Matrix 380 using cocking aid of course. Instead of lifting the string with your hand you lift it using the handle while pushing down the opposite handle. Worked for me. What do you think?

The only aim of my initial post is sharing our experience, thoughts in a positive, creative manner helping Excalibur to make even better crossbows.

Re: Matrix changes everything.
I do worry about my hands. You are saying that a trigger guard is a perfect carrying hold?

Re: Matrix changes everything.
I'm talking about the front corners of the trigger guard. After all discussions above I hesitate to say this
but look at the gun trigger guards: they all are rounded and for a good reason - imagine you fall with the weapon in your hands.

Re: Matrix changes everything.
The front corners of the trigger guard are thin, square and sharp. Should they be rounded and bold instead? What do you think? Any other suggestions to make Matrix even better?

Re: Matrix changes everything.
Let's all cool down and recall what is the original post all about: the new Matrix! Let's discuss what we like in it and what we don't.

Matrix changes everything.
Indeed, it does. I have excalibur Xbox for 15 years by now, recently I've bought matrix 380 and I'm so much impressed.
