I pack me in some 3 gal plastic baggie's if i go deep here in ga mountain's .To much work to get them out .I take what i can and leave the carcass . 30 lb's of meat is better then 150 pd deer dragging. I mostly hunt private land ,but on occasion i'll hunt public ,with good success.The trick is to stay all day and go deep off the beaten path.Most hunter's that hunt public land use rd bed's to go in on .At least around here .I hunt where there are no rd's in the forest .I like to hunt the cohutta's ...

The buck's are already chasing young buck's away.I've seen it happen twice already in 5 day's. If i had to guess they would run around 125 to 130 class.For ga deer this is good. It's a nice clean creek bed that run's into the property for 1 mile .Im hunting on this plateau ,Already have seen 6 doe's...

Give it a taste of an arrow.Don't give it a chance to get to close.In most case's a bear is more scared of u them himself ,unless it's a she with cub's, Black bear run just like deer,Unless it's cornered.Ive shot a few black bear at 20 yard's is the closes't to me anyhow.Just be ready to shoot.

If it's a long period of time .I'd take the string off.And that's all that need's to be done .
