Re: Speaking of good warranties..

Besides Excalibur, I'd say Cabela's has an incredible warranty service. I had a set of GuideWear raingear that went into the northern Ontario bush for seven years with me. Still absolutely waterproof but the water wouldn't bead anymore and the outer layer would get saturated. Once that happened you ...

Re: EoTech X-bow with Matrix

Now that is cool! I would love an EoTech or a Trijicon sight on the bow, or anything for that matter. Great sights, costly but very functional for their intended purpose. Nice setup!

Re: My Custom Matrix 355

Andrew, how are you liking it compared to the old Nox?

Also, what length 8-32 screws did you use? I already had the scopemount base screws loosen up so I used some silcone on the threads (rather than loctite). Don't like the small shallow allen head screws though.

Re: 355 Almost Ready...

I'm happy to report that the 355 really likes 20" Zombies, lumenoks, 110gr brass front inserts, and 125gr Slick Trick mags. POI same as field points. It's a decently heavy arrow, 467gr, and I believe the FOC is 18-20% . Flies like a dart and it looks like I'm getting somewhere around 103fpe. So...

Re: 355 Almost Ready...

Heading out afterwork to get the slick trick mags sighted in. I'm hoping they fly as well as everyone says. Same poi as fp's would be great.

355 Almost Ready...

I am all set for hunting season now! Thanks to Danny Miller and Xcalibur, I have some sweet flemish strings and baby buggy bumpers. These two guys are class acts for sure. Very helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. I have a few chrony readings on Xcaliubrs flemish string (BCY Fo...

Re: New 355...2nd Impressions

JPjunkie, I agree what fantastic service! Excalibur is a top notch crossbow company that's for sure. Only other company I've had service anywhere near as good is Cabela's.

Marketing Dude called me right back after I left him a message. Kudos to him!!!

New 355...2nd Impressions

Ok so it's been a week or so since I picked up my 355 and I have about 125 shots thru it. Got it all dialed in nicely shooting the 20" BE Zombies with 125gr field points. Overall I'm extremely impressed with the accuracy. I totally believe everyone when they say do not shoot at the same bullsey...

Re: Michigan Hunters

My bro-in-law is out this morning for the early season and is getting his butt chewed by mosquitos. He left his thermocell in the truck!  I haven't received a txt in the last hr so he may have stuck something. He shoots a Horton and hasn't seen my new 355 yet. He is going to be jealous!...

Re: Christmas in September!

Forgot to mention there is another flemish string en route from Xcalibur too. That should be here tomorrow. Black and flourescent yellow...should look sweet!
