I shot this guy back in November during permit bow. Just got the mount back today.
It is my biggest archery buck to date. Exocet 200 @ 22 yards. He never knew what hit him.

Election Day Buck
Election Day afternoon was a hot one in central New Jersey this year. When I walked out the door to head to my stand I almost didn't do because of the temperature. But I figured may as well your already dressed and I hadn't been in that stand for over a week. Walking in I was sweating up a storm thi...

Vets Day Buck
The last few days I've been seeing signs of the Rut, trees rubbed, and small scrapes popping up, but only seeing lone does or small groups of 2 or 3. The last buck I saw was on October 4th the first day bucks where legal. I let him walk because it was the the first day and he was a small 6 pointer. ...

Re: October Lull???
It's been real windy in Central NJ and I think thats why the deer seem to have disappeared. With all the leaves blowing around and the noise from the wind they are all hunkered down and not moving during the day.

Re: NJ Early Archery Opens Up-9.13.14
To hot out for me to be out there yet. Plus I hate the earn a buck BS. Nothing worse than sitting on opening day and having a wall hanger walk by in shooting range and not being able to shoot it because you need to shoot a doe first. It's happened to me so many times over the years and most times I ...

Re: Dear Bowtech
Well said Dan, I totally agree and feel the same. I too just started crossbow hunting this past year and bought an Exocet 200 based on what I read on these forums and others. Since then I've recommended only Excaliburs to anyone interested in getting into crossbow hunting. Lets hope this merger does...

I hear this same noise but thought it was normal since I've never shot or decocked another crossbow and have nothing to compare it with.

Re: One Reason aka Why not to take a Poor Shot
The one with the arrow through the jaw is from my area. It looks like a photoshop job to me. No way would the arrow stop there for one thing, another is no damage to the jaw itself, plus thats one old broadhead does anyone still use them? The wacko animal rights people around here will stop at nothi...
