I ended up buying the Excalibur soft case, it has lots of room but the padding was not as thick as I would have liked, so I had some old foam that I cut to fit the inside of the case and beefed it up, works just fine.

thanks Daveshooter, but that did not answer my question, what Im asking is if when you have released the string when storing the bow for the summer, will it still fit in the Excalibur soft case?
