Re: 405 brace height?
I never use the bumper space to set my brace, this cause an issue with the wrong bumpers! I always set all my Matrix bows at 1" from the back of the string to the seam of the rail riser, this is one location that will never change. But on a Matrix bow 1 3/4" is a bit much, but 12" would be harder on...

Re: Broadhead alignment
Tep I have never ran a slick trick torqued down for the very reason you spoke Don. and Kieth made a great point for those no aware of this. I found the Viper Tricks require the same no force tightening, but when lightly snugged always spin true for me. As for aligning vanes,, even with my 3 blade VP...

Re: You guys had fun on the last bow, you might as well beat this one up too!
sorry your not understanding what facts are being made, see Tenpoint developed it long before Ravin had it,, and then they had to pay the company that already had it to use it, this means AFTER Tenpoint had developed it, they were nice enough to allow them to use it,,, my guess is then when Ravin sc...

Re: Chronographing Excaliburs
I received my new 380 limbs yesterday that I ordered from Excalibur, so this afternoon I went out and shot again on the Chrono with the new limbs. It was just as I thought my original limbs were weak. I shot 3 times with my 352 gr. arrow and the endless loop string and the Matrix 380 shot 383 twice...

Re: You guys had fun on the last bow, you might as well beat this one up too!
Ravin pays royalties to TP for the design’s patents. Just like TP pays royalties to Scorpyd for their patents of RD bows. Very true but that is not COPYING a bow. If anything Tenpoint is copying Ravin. The cam and cablke system the width is all designed and owned by Tenpoint, the rest of the bow is...

Re: You guys had fun on the last bow, you might as well beat this one up too!
Well it sure looks like their technology is working,, this is 70 yards with their new Stealth that Ravin is coppying and injuring owners with! https://s19.postimg.cc/jxfy1o6xf/448-grain-_ZS-at-70-yards.jpg 3x scope at 70 aiming center of heart looks like both arrows would have been ruined if I had a...

Re: Chronographing Excaliburs
Thanks fer lett'n me know Eric, I was close with the new limbs and same chronograph sounds like that setup is shooting what the advertised speed is for a 380, a little hotter as matter of fact. That 408 @ 361 fps, and 353 @ 384 fps,,, Who woulda thunk it,,,,

The 380 Mad Max,,, Defines Consistency!
Out of the dozens of Exo's, Micro's, and Matrix bows I have owned the 380 Mad Max has always been my favorite. Now today there was a question about leaving bows cocked all day or for more than one day hurting them, so I did some thinking, and some checking and did a little test. My Mad Max was one o...

Re: Chronographing Excaliburs
I think you have the chrono set up right, but the point you make is valid, if the 350 is shooting this fast the 380 should be around 350 fps for sure! at that weight 360. I have had a 15 fps difference from a factory string to a flemish string. I just checked my 380 and with the factory string it ca...
