Take it back to where you bought it from I'm sure they will help you out ! Thanks for the suggestion. I guess my only choice would be dealing with Excal or Danny Miller at this point, as I bought it from Wyvern (some recommended highly and they are an authorized dealer). I can't speak to the quiver mount issues, but that "knot" is the bump from what I believe is called backserving - it's the end of the string tucked very tightly back under itself to hold it in place - then the end is cut off. Perfectly normal and proper - you'll find that an every string....

I guess you'd have to go in a store and buy it, or can you buy and have it shipped? $719 plus shipping is probably around $750. Anybody heard outdoor4less? They have that price but not a authorized dealer, according to my search of excal website.

It sounds like a good idea to get the matrix 355 at 789, vs equinox at 650 (actually less, you can find it on vergona outdoor website for 639). Only concerns left are the lesser performance history of Matrix, and some questions about quality of the tact zone scope (fish tail issue). But then again, ...

One more question if I may: how much difference in effective range you think there is, between 305 fps vs 350? Wow! I didn't expect so much responses in such a short time span. You guys are awesome! I'll take a closer look (again) at 355 then. I can get an Ibex for $550 so I might just go with that.
