Re: Best Scope
Bubba is correct with his reply. Using Nikon's Spot On Program to dial in your crossbow is very simple. Obviously knowing the velocity of the bolt is extremely important. As with any program, the results will only be as good as the data you enter. I have chronographed bolts and found them to routine...

Re: scope rings and Nikon scope
I had to go to aftermarket rin's on my crossbow's as well. One set of Weaver mounts and one set of Warne. Here are 2 pics showing you my med. rings with the Bolt XR. Skittle- when you get your P-223 BDC 600, if you have any question's drop me a note. I have 1000's of rounds under that scope and love...

Re: Nikon scope warranty
The "new" warranty was only recently put into place. If you have an issue with a 2013 and earlier model and are not the original purchaser I am sure Nikon will still make things right. Nikon also increased from one to two years the warranty on their electronic sport optics. If you have any...

Re: Nikon Bolt
I can assure you that using Spot On will make your shot's more accurate. If you have access to a chromo even better. The more accurate the data the more accurate your shot. I have talked to guy's that just can't get around the BDC circles not being 10 yards and the corresponding distances reflecting...

Re: I mounted my Nikon XR Bolt scope
If you are using the Bolt XR, check out Nikon's Spot On Ballistic Program, it will let you enter your scope, bolt weight and fps to give you the corresponding distances for each of the BDC circles. I have shot apples at 60 yards using this system. It's free to use and I think you will be pleasnatly ...

Re: Nikon Pro Staff Crossbow Scope
If you go to Nikonhunting.com and look under Crossbow scopes you will find the Bolt XR. My son and I have used mine to shoot apples at 60 yards. Utilize Nikon's Spot On ballistic Program to enter the fps of your crossbow and the weight of your bolt. Pretty awesome accuracy. http://i1216.photobucket....
