Thumbholes?
So when I bought my new bow 2 years ago I bought it strictly bc it DIDNT have a thumbhole. The new matrix line is fabulous love the look and compact design but cannot get behind the thumbhole. Its not traditional, it gets caught on sticks and personally I find it ugly. I know many of you love thumbo...

Re: anti-dry fire on Matrix 355
I would put it on my 355 if I had one any dryfire isn't a good thing. I would recommend one for all the Excals. I don't know too many people that shoot alot that haven't dryfired their Excal . Really? Ive had two excals in the last 15 yrs and have never done it. By no means being smart with you but...

Re: Hunting Partner Needed
Im a good bit south of where you are but a lot of public land here! Best regards and welcome. Hey buddy! How far south? I hunt the Killbuck Marsh area a lot. Over 5,000 WMA acres...everything you could want to hunt/trap is there (within reason). It's prime for waterfowl too if you're a bird gunner....

Re: COLD FEET
not sure if its bc of the smoking (of course not hunting) or bad circulation but I tell ya what I have never EVER been able to keep my feet warm. Insoles, liners, heaters, nothing! So I do it this way I know im gonna get cold I just wear my rubber boots and wool socks. its a bummer for sure.

Re: y25 buy or not buy
Especially for off hand shooting the Y25 is simply the best bow they ever made. Yes it is a bit heavier but that adds to steadiness and lower recoil. It shoots with much lower noise. The pistol grip is perfect. There were only 1,000 made and for $550.00 it's a great deal! and EASILY the best lookin...

Re: Bowhunting and speed
I'll say this I shot less than 25-30 on any xbow kill and my current stand has no further than a 15yd shot. That being said my Axiom claims 305fps with 350gr arrow. My GT's with 175s are 528gr...I like the knockdown
