Re: all black vixen

thanks, do not mind using the butt, since it has the grooves and holds it fine, i just used paracord to lengthen the cocking aid a bit

Re: all black vixen

thanks guys, I do not mined using the butt, just concerned if it will cause undue stress in that area, would not think so but wanted your expert opinion, thanks again.

just to clarify, are you referring to cut the grove in the butt or just behind the trigger unit? like normal

all black vixen

hi guys, I picked up an all black vixen, great shape carved tip limbs, for $170, did I do well?sorry having touble posting pics,
can some of you veteran crossbowmen date this bow? it does not have the groove for the rope cocking aid. so I am using the butt stock, is that ok?
thanks so much.

Re: Hunting Upland Game With a Bow

if you can keep the arrow from falling out or off track, great idea,
I see the need also to use crossbows for small game also. with cheap short bolts, perhaps homemade.

there is a lot of cheap 100-150 lbs Asian bows out there that shoot very good for this kind of small game hunting,

Re: excal crossbows, new and old

I can't talk to who is operating things, but I for one like the "new" bows. I had an ExoMag for ten or so years, and bought a "Micro 335" on a whim. The difference in width was significant, and the stock fits me much better than my old E-Mag. Before all was said and done, a Matr...
