Re: Spitfire Gobbler Getter

I've killed six turkeys with Gobbler Getters and hit one that I didn't get. It had nothing to do with the BH, it was a poor shot. This was all with a compound before my X bow days. If I ever hunt turkeys again there will be Gobbler Getters on the front of my bolts.

Re: How Much $$ For Axiom?

Bowhunter's Super Store, an Ebay store, had them for $478 when I was shopping for an Ibex. I bought the Ibex from them for $493 with free shipping.

Re: EZ pull points

If you're talking about the Gold Tip EZ Pull's, they do pull easier in 3D targets and foam. They pull harder in almost everything else I ever shot them into.

Re: Ibex chrono speed

My Ibex chrono's 284 with the factory string and 292 with an endless loop string I made from Fast Flight with 423 gr. bolts. It blew right through a big doe with the factory string. That's all I care about.

Re: DIY broad head target ideas

When I had my archery shop, which I closed in 2008 to go into full retirement, I had broadhead targets made at a local insulation company in Allentown, PA. I had them made from 1.25 density foam which was dense enough to stop broadheads, hold up well and you could still pull the arrows out reasonabl...

Re: fletching jigs and set up??? help.

I used to have an archery shop until I retired in 2008. I have 12 bitz jigs and many years ago I bought a dz. plastic nocks from Kinsey's that are a slip fit in 2016 shafts so I could make bolts on my bitz jigs. However they would not fit in the GT shafts that I now shoot so I turned them down a few...

Re: Endless Loop String Build

Thanks for the quick comeback, Boo. The single strand break strength is 155 lbs according to Kinsey's catalog.

I know that when I build compound strings with this stuff I made them 12 strands which made them about the same diameter as 18 strands of FF.

Re: Endless Loop String Build

I came on here just now to ask about building endless loop strings for my Ibex and wala, here's this thread.

All I have on hand right now is B50, Fast Flight and 450 Plus. Any information for these materials would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Help, I need info on bolts

I am in my 52nd year of bow hunting with one week to go in PA. Two weeks ago I injured my rotator cuff for the second time and this week I made it worse shooting my compound to the point of not being able to shoot it. I ordered a Phoenix at Cabela's. I picked up a dozen GT Lazer Pro shafts and I wan...
