Re: Suggestion for a feeder

I saw a Utube on a bear trying to get a hunk of deer that was thwarted by electric shock but the bear eventually beat up the wiring. I'm thinking about that. I would like to see the video! https://youtu.be/pdM9YOYrcbs ....battery should not have been so accessible....it was unbelievable to watch ho...

Re: Arrows

Don't make it more complicated than you have to, unless your like the one guy who admits he's ANAL .... some of us have selected that part of the Excalibur CB they love tinkering with.... for me it’s not so much the being anal as it is the enjoyment of making “arras”.... I have the selection of BEA...

Re: Nock Removal

Wise man told me once(Boo) “ cut and inch off.... nobody will ever know” That doesn’t compromise the carbon and he is right.... no one will ever know😁 That's the best advice yet. No adhesive residue to jamb up the luminock .....I have been using the 2" screw screwed into the insert. Heat until the ...

Re: Are they ready?

A 3D target will let you know what the maximum distance the new hunter can achieve. If you are going to be in the blind with them, you can run the range finder, or mark off trees in several directions inside that range. Good Luck! Be Safe! Have Fun! ENJOY! Passing on your joy, and knowledge then wa...

Re: Axe project finished

I took a close up of the cocking groove wear. I am sure that I will put some scratches and dings in it over time but that is just the the nature of the beast.[url=https://postimages.org/] https://i.postimg.cc/k4nC7k3H/20200709-142645.jpg I like the idea of a flat finish with soft touch but in the e...

Re: Axe project finished

I tried to hydrodip my Axe twice. I could not get it perfect so I found a hydrodipper here in Maine to do it for me. Sent with a note that I wanted a light colored wood with high gloss clear. Got it back today after 10 days. I am very impressed with the finished project. I put on a set of flat blac...

Re: Shooting Stick Types

I have both the Primos bipod and tripod trigger stix. Love them both. The tripod is by far the most stable and the closest thing to shooting off a bench but it's heavier and I wouldn't want to pack it around still hunting. The bipod is very solid and much lighter than the tripod. It's easily packed...
