Re: Bow Noise/Decibel meter
If you ask me,the noise I notice the most is when the trigger claw lets go of the string. All that poundage letting loose makes more noise than anything,at least that's what my ears tell me

The last two deer I shot this season were broad side, straight up from the leg about 1/2 way up......double lung shots and both only ran 30 yards and down they went.

Re: First deer with my 405 pics add'd
Nice buck,Congrats!!! When I shoot a broad side deer,I aim straight up the front leg about a 1/3 of the way up,it puts your bolt through both lungs...at least that's what happened to the buck a shot 2 weeks ago, haha. Ran about 30 yards, and had a good blood trail if I would have needed it.

Re: Matrix 355 does the job!
Onegun, don't let anyone rain on your parade. Any deer taken legally with an arrow is a trophy. You did good, ignore any poor comments. X 2 If it's brown (and legal) it's down! CONGRATS on your harvest!!! Looking forward to seeing more! Haha, thanks VixChix! The plan is to head out tomorrow to see a...

Re: Lets talk about camouflage patterns.
I think it's more important knowing the wind direction plus keeping movements to a minimum. It's amazing how quick a deer can detect the slightest amount of movement, then once they focus their attention on you,it's tough to get them to "relax" again. But as far as camo,I wear good old mili...

Re: Trigger Tech...Single Stage or 2 Stage?
I shot a buck with the single stage on Saturday.....having no creep is the ticket IMO,just a little squeeze and the bolt was on it's way
