Re: matrix 380 came today
Congrats on your new 380 you will love it. You will be pleased with the boltcutters. I use them they are very accurate and a short recovery with a good shot placement.

Re: Heater for deer blind?
Kegbelly,
Would the refill kit be sold at BPS or Academy or a certain store. Thanks letting me know that. I would definitely do that. Now that my 7 yr old goes with me a lot I use the mr. Heater more.

That is definitely a monster. Here in Alabama the mature bucks never have that heavy mass. They get that tall and wide though

Re: Heater for deer blind?
I have a Mr. Heater Buddy heater which is lightweight to carry in and out. It uses the small green propane tanks. It heat my deer blinds very well. That would be much easier than going through the trouble of running a hose through the wall. You can buy the small green tanks in bulk at SAMs or Costco

Re: Broadheads shoot Matrix 380
expandable the FOC 170 grain is best. for Fixed blade I have used the bolt cutter and it works well. I have used both with the Diablo bolts and both are very accurate. I have killed deer with both and the FOC gives a major blood trail while the bolt cutter gives an adequate blood trail. With both he...

Re: Rangefinder Dilema
I bought the Nikon rifle Hunter 550 and have been impressed with it. This is my first year hunting with it and it has done well. Was able to find it on eBay for cheaper than anywhere else. It gives a quick reading and is very reliable. However the Leopold 1000 will probably be a better product. I ju...

Re: Best tripod/bipod/other for Equinox/Matrix 380 crossbow
When hunting in a ground blind I use the bog gear bogpod. It is a bipod. It has worked well for us. My son shot his first deer at 35 yards with this bipod. He is seven years old and he loves to practice with the matrix after school. he uses the Bog-pod everytime. Even with the rope cocking aid some ...

Re: Advice on used ATV price
I agree on the high hours. The tires still have enough tread on them to last two years probably. It has been garage kept and he said that he had maintenance done regularly. I did not think about the bearings being worn. It is a individual selling the ATV so I am not sure if they would allow my frien...
