I own a Matrix 355 and a 330. The 330 fits me like a glove but the 355 is a bit long, especially when I'm wearing heavier clothing. I have to really work to get squared up behind the bow. Is it possible to put a 330 stock on a 355 without a whole lot of hassle, like cutting down the rail?

It sounds like what you are seeing are just the pockets from the limb molding process. Some have more than others but its part of our process. I took my 1st deer with my Matrix 330 this morning. A nice 6 pointer. The shot was about 30 yards. The Black Eagle arrow topped with a 125 grain Slick-Trik hit the mark flawlessly. Quick kill and quick recovery, what else can I say.
