Re: The new thing to worry about

is that the east Asian tick they are talking about? sorry if so its one of ours. We call it a cattle tick, it balloons up with blood when feeding. By themselves they are pretty harmless I used to pull a couple hundred off my dogs after they had been running around a swamp for a few days. The issue i...

Re: Do you guys remember Makena from 2015?

What a crap deal. After 25 years military and contracting I found most the worlds crap can be explained by universal laws of survival. But I could never understand natures purpose in trying to take small kids out of the game.

Re: Shout out to LBJ

Thanks for the thread. I have never seen anything like these before and just mailed the company to see if they can ship to Australia. Any drawbacks with their use?

Re: noobie here, exomag, some ?'s

Hi I am no expert but owned an exomax nearly 20 years ago and recently bought a matrix 380. I liked its size to be honest and miss its simple stock .Not a fan of the pistol grip starwars blaster looking stocks on new crossbows. Regards getting started, one of the members here, Boo, has a I link I fo...

Re: Very agrivating sometimes

crossbows are in an arms race , its exciting for hardcore guys but those who just want to buy and shoot need to be made aware cutting edge tech often needs more user involvement to keep it working. I tell my buddies , you can shoot certain bows without becoming a crossbow expert, like a guy can be a...

I have to admit its really good here, especially considering it is their forum. I haven't seen any sign of moderation if folks have a strong opinion. Some of the big hunting/gun forums should take note.

Re: whats up with the signing in and posting process?????

Hmmmmmm, don't tell anyone at Excalibur I told you about their little secret, but Peter told me that they flag the trouble makers and do that intentionally....just to poke the bear. :eusa-liar: :eusa-naughty:  Paul can't be true Paul. 1/3 of my posts are inflammatory and general grumpiness (li...

Hunting day pack

Hi gents, any suggestions for hunting packs that can hold a rifle or crossbow, day pack size, 1500-1600CU or so. I don't need quick access to them, just as long as they are secure and hands are kept free. Would prefer to have a decent main compartment too, not a jumble of small pouches. Also are the...

Re: Arrow and Bow combinations of forum members

originally an exomax with factory aluminium arrows of 20 years ago, and I think WASP broadheads( were the a brand back then?). Now a matrix 380 blackout with diablo and boltcutters and intention to put a rifle look riesterer stock on it. Going for an old school look, modern power, and will match the...

Re: carry case for matrix 380

Thanks Janesey. I just ordered one of the Vexan 8 rod bags off ebay incidentally. They also look like the cabelas bag apart from the logo and color scheme. Grassyknoll verified they looked similar to his cabelas bag, however as to fabric and quality will have to wait and see. I also took a look at t...

Re: carry case for matrix 380

Thanks all, well just found the last cabelas store still listing the 8 rod bag, possibility of 'limited stock' at Cabelas Ottawa. I assume this is an actual cabelas store not online. I'll give them a call once its morning over that way.

Re: carry case for matrix 380

thanks grassyknoll, I would have liked that bag. I got Pm'ed by one of the members here last year when I asked about matrix carry bags and he suggested the '6 rod bag' to me  Unfortunately its too small, wasn't worth sending back, international shipping etc, Unfortunately cabelas are sold o...
