I must say I have shot both from horizontal and crossbow, couldn't tell the difference to many variables in the outside world, wind and other elements,. But I guess if you were in a indoor climate controlled range trying to thread a needle you could probably tell the difference, they both are deadly...

I believe everybody has choice of implements, try different things find what works for you. I could shoot an egg beater at the end of my arrow and if it killed a deer someone would try it,. I think everyone on this sight is a very talented hunter I learned a great deal from them , but what works for...

Thank you for all response , first time ever using mech. I always shot fixed from my compound. I have g5 strikers 100 gr. Should I try them or go with 125 that I set arrow up with?? Sighted in my rage crossbow x 125 gr. Practice tip, then put a hunting tip to assure same point of impact so I would be sure no mistake. I too shoot 380, and I don't understand putting bands on broadhead, I am going to shoot rage crossbow x 125 gr. Right now shooting field tips w/bee 18" 92. Brass up front 2" blazers w/ right offset 125 gr. Tip do I or should on put bands on to make sure they don't open before impact?? Expl...
