Re: Exocet 200 Brace Height

Thanks Everybody,

I have a friend who wants to try hunting with a crossbow this year so I pulled out the old Excocet 200 and am getting it ready for him. Even though it's an older bow it's still a nice bow and I think my friend will get a lot of use out of it.

What's the optimal brace height from the seam for an Exocet 200?

Who Misses The Old Bows

I miss the old bows like the Matrix 355, Matrix 380 and the Bulldog 380 and 400. While I understand why Excalibur came out with the Assassin and Micro series of bows I miss the old ones for their shear simplicity. So nothing is prefect and I had a few limb issues with my Bulldog 440 but nothing beat...

Re: Matrix bulldog 380

I really wish Excalibur would bring a few of the older bows back as I thought they were great bows and very dependable. The Matrix 355, Matrix 380, Bullldog 380 and the Bulldog 400 are great bows and for the life of me I just don't understand why they were discontinued.

Re: Favorite Cold Weather Gear

I hike in about 1.5 miles to my stand so I carry most of my clothes in a pack and get dressed at the base of the tree after I have spent 10 minutes or so cooling off. SmartWool Socks Cabelas fleece base layers A wool or fleece sweather First Lite Sanctuary bibs and jacket This year I purchased some ...

Favorite Cold Weather Gear

With the current heat wave across North America I thought it was a good time to discuss cold weather gear. I was hoping people could share what their favorite gear is to wear when it's well below freezing and you are doing a six hour sit in the stand? Please share your thoughts on base layers, socks...

Re: favorite gun manufacturer

For carry guns my preference is Glock and Sig. For revolvers nobody beats Ruger, For bolt action hunting rifles I prefer Weatherby, For rimfire rifles I prefer CZ and for over and under shotguns I prefer Browning.
