congrats on the 355, just got mine last Wed and when i mounted the ADF i had to do the same thing with the spring! Does it not hit the rail know when you fire it as it is awful close??

I can see now in a side by side comparison that the spring is almost to the end of the for stock on the 380's. now i feel better!
do you think the 1\8" clearance from the spring to the deck is enough of should i make the attempt at bending it up a bit

ADF Installation on a Matrix 355
I am installing my ADF on my 355 and have a couple of question i need resolved. first the arrow retainer on the standard setup is attached to the string latch mechanism. To install the ADF the arrow retainer spring is attached to the Scope rail and thus pushes the spring a full 3" forward.........

I understand the confusion as if you watch all the Excalibur Video's Bill says himself that they are not needed but as other members have stated its an insurance policy of sorts. I took there advice and installed the ADF before the first bolt was ever loaded. And at the least it will lessen the chan...

Thanks for all the advice as i have relied heavily on this forum to get set up! And yes i did Blue Loctite all the appropriate pieces. Bow went together without a hitch as expected! i am just as addicted as all you so its nice to know i have company when the wife yells at me!! lol Cant wait til fall...
