Re: Another look at 100 yard shooting
If I had to shoot over 30 yards I wouldn't call myself a bowhunter. Wow , apparently I'm no bowhunter then since I have killed a few deer over 30 yards . Sometimes when they walk by me they are a little over 30 yards and I shoot them anyhow :D I guess I need to refine my hunting skills a few more y...

Re: Four Blade Mechanicals?
Check out the Grim Reaper Carni-four on youtube . I'm a hardcore Jak Hammer fan but I may have to try these . It's a four blade mechanical .

Re: Air Brakes Installation problems!
I have done this more than to remove a stripped Allan head screw . I take my Dremel tool with the one of little cutting discs and just cut a slot right into the head of the screw big enough to get a good sized flat screwdriver into . Then it should turn right out . Its worked every time for me . Goo...

Executioners vs. Zombies
I would like some input from fellow members who have had experience using both . Do the Zombies shoot better than the Executioners or is there a noticeable difference ? I am currently shooting 18" Executioners from my 355 and they are great but cant help noticing how many members are using Zomb...

Crossbones Question
To anyone who owns a Crossbones I am just wondering how well the small yardage marks show up in low light . I know the scope has good glass because I own several Leupold rifle scopes but the marks do look a little small to me . This is really the only negative I can find on this scope but that is fr...

String Tension ?
Please forgive my choice of words but does anybody know what is normal for string down force on the rail ? On my Vortex you see a "crown" or "arc" in the string if looked straight across the top of string . On my Matrix the string barely touches the rail . Is this typical of Matr...

Re: Might be a while.
Might be a while till I can cock my crossbow again. I had inguinal hernia surgery yesterday. (12 hours ago) They put a mesh in and I will be off work 4 - 6 weeks. Not sure how long it will be until I can cock my crossbow. I go back to see him in a week........ wonder if I dare ask him about that? l...

Re: Single Stage 2.5 TT / Micro review
I agree 100% . I found a good deal on a Micro trigger and put it in my 355 because the trigger that came in it was horrible . The Micro trigger was a big improvement but I still wanted a Trigger Tech . I ordered a single stage from Danny Miller and got it installed Monday . Amazing at the difference...

Re: String: Tri-Color Beauty from NChunterkw
That's a really good looking string . I know you will like it because I have two of Keith's strings and they are as good as I have seen anywhere and you can't beat the price . Oh yeah , he's a super nice guy too !

Air-Brakes Review
My Air-Brakes came today and I got them installed on my 355 . Installation was easy I thought . I recommend removing the stirrup after the string is removed . This makes it a lot easier to remove the 4 shoulder bolts and also when its time to install the new longer ones that are supplied . I shot my...

Re: Acetone To Remove Writing/Decals From BEE Arrows?
I think I heard/read somewhere that you can use acetone to remove the writing/decals from the shafts of BEE arrows. Am I right? I'd like to make them all black except for the orange blazers but don't want to mess them up either. Thanks in advance Yes you can remove them easily with acetone . Anothe...

Re: Any reccomended crossbows?
I shot my 355 for nearly 3 hours straight a couple weeks ago . I don't know how many times I actually shot it but it was a lot . The 380 has a 20 pound heavier pull but I don't how much more you would notice it since I have never shot a 380 . I have shot my friends 405 and I could definitely notice ...
