Just Wondering
Why I never see any ad for any crossbows in the Big outdoor magazines? My wife got me subscriptions to Outdoor Life, and Field and Stream a while back, and I have looked in every issue for ads, or stories. None there. Is it because they won't accept the ads or stories or because nobody has submitted...

The other two are the land that I have access to hunt on. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/XCOP/p1010001.jpg http://...

I once shot a bull elk with a recurve, aluminum arrow, and old style Bear Razor Head. I hit the shoulder bone dead center. The arrow bounced out and the arrow was bent 45degrees an inch behind the head. The bull took off, and never looked back. I saw him two days later, crossing a meadow. He was fav...

From the photo, I would say that they are Boletus. Smooth rounded top, resembling a hamburger bun, no gills on the under side, but a surface that resembles a sponge. If that is what they are, they are edible. Check the stems to see if there are bugs inside though. They are ok to eat, but do not have...

Along with the things already listed, I always pack a single cigar. A nice Corona purchased just for the hunting season. After I have made a good shot, I light her up. It is the perfect size for a 35-40 minute wait. It helps pass the time in a most pleasurable way, and keeps me from looking at my wa...
