Just received a new set of replacement Limbs for my 405 Matrix.
It came with a bright blue string. My previous Limbs had the original brown string.
Would like to know more about this new string.
Can anyone shed some insight.

Gen II Limbs
Question?
I heard it stated that Excalibur developed new Gen. II limbs to address limb de lamination issues? Is it a true statement that all micro bows comes equipped with Gen II limbs?
Is the Bulldog 400 equipped with Gen II limbs, as well?

Off Season Questions
1) Is it recommended to unstring bows in the off-season?
2). What kind of lubricant does Excalibur recommend for the trigger
I own a Matrix 405, just put on a new string last week. Was planning on shooting it as the weather warms up.

Re: 405 Matrix
All good information. I think I'll measure my trigger pull to get a baseline. I'll continue to research after market triggers.
I agree that the 405M is one of the best built bows.

405 Matrix
Question for 405 Matrix owners...
Was considering changing out tigger from stock to a after market trigger.
My bow was part of the recall, and the tigger pull seem to have increased.
Should I made a switch or deal with a heavier trigger pull?

Re: Will the 405 Trigger pull weight remain the same?
As a new owner of a 405 Matrix, I was not happy to drop off my bow at the dealer this week to have it returned for inspection and/ or repair. However, Excalibur is handling this quality upset properly by not burying the incident or keeping it under the carpet. I feel confident that my bow will be in...

Re: Shooting Stick
I decided to retrofit by matrix 405 to allow for the Steedy Eddie to mount just below the quiver. Yes, I hate to drill a hole into a fine piece of equipment.
If I gain improved stability in the field, I will be able to justify my decision as apply downward pressure on my drill.
lol

Re: Down range accuracy
Just read the note below mine, and the author is asking a similar question. Oops! I'm shooting the 405 and just starting to move beyond 30 yds which was very, very impressive. I jumped back to 50 yds and now my tight groups have widen. I'm not ruling out operator error since this bow is less than 2 ...

Ten Piont offers a product called "Steedy Eddy " to help stabilize
Your crossbow while hunting while in a tree stand or ground blind. Does Excalibur offer anything similar?
If not, has anyone ever modify a steedy eddy to fit an Excalibur bow?
