Re: Matrix 380 Speed
380 Blackout with 460 grain total arrow weight and I get 340/345 FPS. The 380 is as perfect a crossbow as they come in my opinion. . .just the right balance!

Re: another one bites the dust
Congrats on your deer! Yes, I must say that I too feel the shot was a little far forward (maybe a little high too?). Anyhoo. . .these things happen. I am with the rest of the Slick Trick gang. Where I hunt at times there are hogs that pass through. . .they're not very welcome critters on the propert...

Re: Question on Zombie Slayer Shafts
I started out shooting the .001 shaft. . .placed an order for another 2 dozen and somewhere along the line there was a mix-up - .003 size shafts arrive from The Brown Santa Clause ! ! ! I wasn't very happy and thought the worst, then put them up for sale on this site. A few days later Boo responds t...

Re: Do Excalibur strings EVER stop stretching ? ! ? !
Thanks for all the input guys. So, in order to stretch the new string, (and I don't have a jig) could I hang the string using a hook on one loop and a suspended weight on the other. . .and how much weight? Any one have a method they use without having a jig or using the bow? ? ? Thanks again.

Do Excalibur strings EVER stop stretching ? ! ? !
I put a new Excalibur Flemish Dyna Flight string on my Exocet about 6-8 months ago and have well over 250 shots on it, but I still have to put a twist or two in it about every other shooting session to keep the string an 1/8" off the bumpers. The last string I had, same kind, was the same way u...

Re: Opinions please
I'm not a 380 owner - YET!. . . but, what I can tell you is Excalibur Crossbows are dead nuts accurate! ! ! I've owned 2 and now currently shoot an Exocet 200, out to 50 yards I WILL NOT shoot at the same point on the target in fear of doing damage to my arrows. 1" - 1 1/2" groups at that ...

Re: B.E ZOMBIE SLAYERS
The only thing I don't like about them is that hideous graphic on them. I'm assembling the with the rotting skull to the front of the shaft so its the first part to wear off. :? AMEN, SISTA ! ! ! For the life of me, I can not see why so many companies out there these days portray all this zombie cr...

Re: B.E ZOMBIE SLAYERS
Offshore, Do you fish?? Your making me think I don’t need a Matrix and should stick with my Exocet 200. I am going to give the Zombie Slayers a try and see if I can get similar performance. I’ll report back after I build and test them. I take people fishing quite a bit. I was a charter captain and ...

Re: B.E ZOMBIE SLAYERS
Big John, I always hunt in very thick areas. Mostly very heavy and very thick mountain laurel. I limit myself to a 35 yard maximum shot distance but most shots are under 20 yards so lighter arrows and speed are not my top priority. I am mostly interested in accuracy, power and toughness. The FMJ bo...

Thanks, Boo. How about the knocks. . .will I be able to see a difference in POI? I really don't want to have any second guessing.

B.E. Zombie arrow question . . .need advice.
I ordered another batch of BE Zombies. . .18 of them. This time they're not the same ones and I looked on the order and "I" did not specify whether I wanted the .001 straightness or the .003 straightness, I use the .001. They also came with halfmoon knocks. My question is; is there any dif...

Re: 22" arrows
Did you find they fly better? I could not honestly answer that because I have never shot a shorter arrow. I've always shot long and heavy arrows even with my recurve and longbows. . .I want the maximum "thump" when that arrow reaches its destination. And I think Vixenmaster is pretty spot...
