I had the same problem with a set of 3 small game heads. You know the type....with the 4 hooked wires sticking out.
I took them back to the store.

Re: Some Broadhead Testing at the Range
It depends on how far off the point of impact is. If the difference is small....it could be a change in parallax error. Yes.....I have seen scopes that gave different points of impact when the magnification was changed from low to high. I am a bit leery of mid-priced scopes that have magnification o...

Re: Broadhead mounting
About the "o" rings. You can go to a place that sells darts and accessories. They sell "o" rings to keep the shafts on the dart. Should be just about the right size. I like the "o" ring idea when shooting broadheads into a cardboard box full of rags. If you have trouble...

Just ask for someone in the U.S. to buy it for you. You pay for it but you enter the address of the person in the U.S. Then you ask that person to send it to you via USPS. I've done it before with fishing reels. It's not illegal.

Re: Trying before buying???
Bronson and Bronson in Kingston has a short range which permits you to at least discharge the bow. at least they did in November Plus during the summer they have an organized 3D shoot close by weekly. ($10) I plan to visit my mom and sisters in Kingston in May. I always visit the hunting and fishin...

Trying before buying???
How many actually get to try the crossbows before buying? Here where I live, we are lucky just to hold the crossbow a few minutes. Actually cocking it and even....god forbid....shoot the thing....is completely out of the question. I even have a rant. I know of no store where I can try out a crossbow...

Re: Parallax setting for rifle scope?
What the others have said is absolutely true. You can completely forget anything about parallax error if you place your eye behind the scope exactly the same way each time. So, la good stance, a good snug fit, exact same cheek placement on the stock, exact same cheek (no swellings or changing the am...
