Re: O/T Savage 10ML PRICING OUTRAGEOUS

With a gun it's how far can I hit em and with a bow it's how close can I get em. Only does go in my freezer. Don't fool with bucks unless I'm giving the meat away.

Re: Pop-Up blind recommendations

Might want to give the Rhino XP1 a look. I've had a couple brands of the cheaper blinds and they work well enough but the Rhino I got back in the spring has been the best so far. Very heavy material and super customer service(I had an issue with a pole and they made it right even though it was my fa...

Turning around is not an issue if you use a rock climbing harness. And hook-up before you leave the ground!

Re: S5 replacement pads

Thanks,
It helped to see a pic because the post on mine is already flat on the end and I didn't know if this was a factory update or if I needed to remove more. Looks like I need to remove more!

S5 replacement pads

The rubber pads on my Matrix 355 have split. I used some shoe goo to hold them together till I can get some more. I have read that some modify the post so that the pads last longer. Any links or pictures as to how to do this procedure?

Re: How to make Permethrin

To start with get a product that does not contain petroleum distillates. This is a product that works well for me: http://store.doyourownpestcontrol.com/martins-permethrin-10 Mix the product to a .5 % concentration. For the Martins, or any 10% product, mix it 20 to 1. I put the diluted solution in a...

Re: Help Me on My Next Excalibur

The last time I bought from Amazon(couple months ago) tax for my state was added! I called them about it and they acted like they would be adding state sales tax for whatever state you were shipping to. That was the last time I ordered off their site.

Re: Question on arrow cutting

If I was using an arrow saw I would cut 1 inch off each end. They say that most of the runout occurs on the ends. Only taking 2 inches off the shaft and using a less accurate means of cutting I would only take it off one end. What I do to make sure the end of the shaft is squared after using the G5 ...

Re: Shot distance for deer hunting

[quote="nchunterkw"]The biggest thing is that crossbows are noisy and a deer will react to that. If the time lag between the shot and the arrow arriving at the deer is long enough, the deer can move causing a poor hit, or a miss. Just to relate something that happened when my son,who was a...
