Daily Drivers

DrDan My limited experience with my bigfoot is similar to yours---they are great!!!! However, had the opportunity this last fall and this winter to observe and ride with a friend who has an 8 wheeler equipped with the 18 " tracks. This machine is unstoppable!!!! He was going through their woodl...

JR Very interested in your findings on the new luminated vari-zone scope. I too am waiting for them to hit the dealers but I thought it would be April 1. With your vari-zone, were you able to follow arrow flight after release? With the fibre optic it was possible but I am wondering if the "scop...

Wonderful pictures. An example of a "true hunter". I can imagine the thrill and the adrenalin rush you must have experienced because even the pictures got me pumped.

I am unable to make out the name on the front, but the vehicle looks similar to an Argo. Aside, is it anphibious?

WalknTall You got it!!!!!! As an M.C. at a wedding in a super hot July, the bride and groom were late so as one item to fill in with ,I rhymed that off and suggested that the guests inquire as to whether the couple could comment. I must admit that it went over very well and certainly created a buzzi...

enormous: Couldn't agree with you more.My family have enjoyed a diversified variety of wild meats over time. I told them that I would not try to hide the identity of the animal on the platter as long as they would give it a try. They did their part and all enjoy what dad brings home. It has been ver...

Comfybear:

You did very well in your paraphrase but I think that the original wording has more "romanticism" to it. However your point is well taken as it was cold last night and this morning.
Just thought that I would comment as you did arouse a smile for me.
Thanks

DrDan---- I was not aware of the impact that had hit Wisconsin with respect to licence sales but if that is publicized not only within the wildlife management circles but also the general public, loss in "MONEY " revenues talk a language far stronger and often with greater results than any...

'DrDan---- you stated the thought that I was going to make. I feel these farming operations should have strict controls for the heaslth of the animals to prevent a serious problem from arising in the wild herd. Our overall mandate should be to protect the health of the natural wild animals. It may b...

Thanks for your info, everyone. I will certainly take a look at the lumi-zone when it is on the shelf. As was mentioned it is in the low light background that I am wondering if the markings will show up clearly --- at least to my eyes. Thanks again.

lumi-zone illuminated scope versus vari-scope

I am interested in comments concerning these scopes. The catalogue illustrations show the vari-zone yardage arrows to be more clear than the red illuminated arrows of the illuminated scope. Does this hold true in actual use? Is the illumination a necessity or does the non illuminated vari-zone gathe...
