Re: Lining up fletching with broadhead blades
i would shoot a test one the way they line up when tight, if your satisfied with the flight leave 'em alone if you need to tune 'em then lining up could improve flight, with aluminum shafts i just heat the shaft & twist with broadhead tight to line up vanes and blades and yes it can make a diffe...

Re: Check your arrows regularly!
seems like a good thing to watch, the carbons have a tough reputation, they won't bend....but they can get messed up, everytime i retrieve my arrows i look them over and tighten the field points. i had one take a jolt and snap in half, i never noticed a crack but it was a wake up call to keep eyes o...

Re: moon nocks in a Matrix
i have some older 2219 true flight xbow arrows that i bought back when i shot a barnett demon for a spell, they have moon nocks and wheni went to remove them to switch to flats...jeez what a pain in the arse, i started with a propane torch trying to melt/soften the thing and pull it, it just turned ...

Re: Returning the trigger
I'm in the same boat, over a grand and the trigger has to break in? money just don't buy what it should. i think the bow, a 380, is pretty slick but the trigger and the way the "lower" is attached to the aluminum rail/body leave some room for improvement. i'm at around 200 shots & the ...

Re: Bow Leveling / Level Installation
I read on the forum that someone used a string/line level and used a razor knife to trim off the excess plastic and two sided tape to stick it on the xbow, this i did and mounted it were i can see it with my left eye while my right eye is lined up with the scope. the part that gets the scope aligned...

Re: Arrow building tools
I was just going through my old archery stuff from the 80's and dug out my JoJan fletching jig and a whole pile of different vanes & feathers, it is fun to build arrows, i would be careful about the cutoff, it should be PERFECT for best results. the jig i use for gluing vanes has options, left, ...

Re: STS string stops and 5S string stops
When i opened the box my 380 had a stretched string and it was pressing into the rubber pads bad enough to split one after maybe 10 shots, i was able to turn them around and shoot some more. after i looked at my glue selection and ended up using silicon as a filler/glue, it didn't stick very good bu...
