First mature buck
The harvest of the deer started saturday evening. I stand 1 location do to the wind forecast. Upon entering my stand, the wind direction was coming from the east instend of the forecasted SW. Not a strong wind but a slight breeze still send my scent right into the path of any deer coming out of the ...

Any michigan hunters in st clair county? Im new to the county this past January, I've been scouting the state land and see some sign of deer but have yet to see anything while in stand. Re: Thoughts on wrapping the stirrup in paracord?+checkingSc

Excal's should come with a warning
There should be a surgeon general warning on all Excalibur crossbows stating "handling or shooting of an Excalibur crossbow could be hazardous to your wallet and or marriage, use extreme caution" For me it all started with an exocet 165, then an aluminum axiom now a matrix 380 (used) Speak...

A hunters prayer
Dear God listen to our prayer. As we go out in the field to hunt one of your great gifts please watch over us and guide us with care. Let us come home safely to our wonderful families. If you bless us with a chance to harvest one of your creatures give us the patience to wait for the shot, to use th...

Re: Sound suppression on Axiom
I too was in the same mind set about noise. IMO and as others have mentioned, a well made string,, dissipater bars and S5 will reduce the amount of after shot flexing. But not all are needed. What i recently learned is what we hear at the trigger is different than what is heard say 15 feet away. The...
